About the role

Our teams of dynamic and motivated Dietitians are based at Christchurch Health Campus, which includes medical and surgical, paediatrics, diabetes and women - s health.

Nutrition and Dietetics are seeking experienced Dietitians to join the paediatric team on the Christchurch Health Campus. Providing nutritional assessment and nutritional care plans to acute inpatients and general paediatric outpatients.

You - ll be working as part of multi-disciplinary teams, liaising with health providers and you - ll be driven to ensure best health outcomes for people with nutrition related disorders.

We have both a permanent full time and casual position available, please indicate your preferred position in your cover letter.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing nutrition support and treatment needs of patients based on evidence based guidelines and best practice
  • Prioritising and managing case load
  • Participate in continuing professional development
  • Contribute to quality improvement process' and maintain standards across the department

About You

Your skills will include:

  • Enthusiasm for your work and the ability to be a positive team player
  • A drive to ensure best health outcomes for children with nutrition related disorders
  • Self-motivation, organisation and will enjoy a challenge
  • Clinical experience and a desire to learn
  • Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth 
  • New Zealand Registered Dietitian with a current NZ Annual Practising Certificate
