About the Role
As the Clinical Governance Manager, you willsupport the Clinical Governance Committee and leaders in the management and coordination of the Clinical Governance Support Service. Your day will include making connections with the right people in order to answer an incredible diversity of questions, and ensuring the team is coordinated and functioning smoothly.
About the Team/Service/ Location
The Clinical Governance Support Team look after feedback about our services, responses to regulatory organisations, the reportable event system and processes, clinical audit, information systems management and the daily work of making things better for everyone.

About you
As a Clinical Governance Manager, you will have:
- Experience and understanding of the Healthcare environment
- Audit experience and compliance experience
- Experience in across-continuum leadership and management within a large complex organisation
- Knowledge of the current thinking around quality and safety within health care sector
- Highly skilled in time and organisational management demonstrated by the ability to meet constantly changing demands and deadlines
- Demonstrate an ability to provide, receive and record both routine and highly complex communications, electronically, orally and written
- A commitment to Health NZ - s Māori Health Directorate - s strategy and the ability to incorporate Māori perspectives into service improvement.
The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.
