Salary: Senior Nurse Grade 1 (previously Grade 3)
Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
We are looking for a registered nurse to join our small team as a Clinical Nurse Coordinator. We practice in a collaborative partnership model of care to achieve best outcomes for patients and whanau. We are looking for someone who can coordinate from the time patients are wait listed for surgery until treatment occurs. You will work in a supportive environment with tailored orientation. The hours are Monday to Friday with some flexibility in hours, stat holidays off, and closure through Christmas period.

Our dedicated team consists of our Planned Care Manager, responsible for management, oversight and support of the service and team. Clinical Nurse Coordinators advocating for their services and smoothing the surgical pathway for patients and whanau, our valued administration team support the nurse coordinators in this process. We also work closely with the consultants, theatre teams, wards and other services such as the thrombosis team and no two days are the same.

Qualifications and Experience
- Registered Nurse holding current registration with Nursing Council of New Zealand
- Hold the - established - right to work in New Zealand (NZ citizenship, NZ residency or current valid work visa)
- Have a patient-centred philosophy
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Skilled in the area of, excel, outlook calendar etc.
