About the Role
The Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) with a
portfolio in cardio-respiratory conditions, works across the South Canterbury
health sector, inclusive of primary and secondary settings to contribute
clinical expertise to complex care planning & management, service
development, and staff development.
Working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary Team the CNS will take on the role of clinical expert and leader in the pursuit of clinical excellence in the delivery of patient centered care.
About You
This is a senior role and the successful applicant
will demonstrate leadership in service developments, quality projects, by
applying scholarly knowledge and applied practice with a continued focus to
improve health outcomes.
Key Requirements Include:
- Nursing Council of NZ registration, and current APC
- Undergoing (or prepared to commence) relevant postgraduate study towards, or currently holds a post graduate diploma or higher
- Proven expert clinical assessment and relevant clinical experience skills
- Demonstrate strong clinical leadership skills
- Be able to work collaboratively with health professionals and as an autonomous practitioner.
- Current full New Zealand Divers License

Salary Range
This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the Nursing Collective and the salary will be in accordance with the Pay Scale, and dependent on relevant experience.
