About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist – Emergency Department (ED) to join our dynamic team. This is a fixed-term, part-time role where you will play a vital role in delivering expert care and leadership within the ED.

You will:

  • Deliver advanced clinical expertise in emergency nursing to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Act as a resource and provide education for the ED nursing team, wider clinical teams, and patients/whānau.
  • Lead or contribute to service improvement initiatives within the ED.

About you

We're looking for a senior nurse with:

  • Significant emergency nursing experience and advanced clinical practice skills.
  • Proven teaching and mentoring abilities to support clinical teams.
  • A post-graduate qualification (or working toward) in a relevant field.
  • Demonstrated experience in quality improvement and service development.
