We are seeking a visionary and forward-thinking Clinical Coordinator to join our team and drive improvements in equity for Māori and all cultures across Counties Manukau Integrated Mental Health and Addiction Services.

Rapua te Ao Waiora adheres to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, ensuring cultural and clinical competence. Based in Papakura, our Southside Adult community mental health team provides culturally responsive specialist mental health care to individuals with serious mental health and addiction issues. Serving the vibrant and diverse communities of Papakura and Manurewa, this role requires someone with exceptional clinical and operational leadership skills, who is well-organized, flexible, and able to build strong relationships.

We are currently looking for a highly motivated, experienced, and passionate clinician Registered Nurse or Allied Health Clinician to take on the role of Clinical Coordinator. In this position, you will work closely with the existing Clinical Coordinator, Team Manager and the team of Senior medical Officers to support and enable best available clinical practice. This involves offering consultation, advice, mentoring, and facilitating best practices in both cultural and clinical aspects, as well as managing caseloads across the continuum of integrated care.

If you are a Registered Nurse or Allied Health Clinician (Registered Social Worker or Registered OT) with significant mental health experience and a strong understanding of cultural diversity, this is an exciting opportunity for you to make a meaningful impact in the field.

Essential:

• NZ RN registration or NZ Allied Health Registration with current annual practicing certificate.
• Minimum of 5 years post registration experience in Mental Health with some of this being within a community mental health team.
• Full, NZ driver’s license with no limitations.
• Understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

Preferred:

• Experience in leadership roles within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Proficient Nursing portfolio or Advanced Merit.
