- Community Clinical Services, Whangarei
- Permanent part time position, working 20 hours per week between Monday – Friday
- Provide comprehensive Cold Chain / Vaccine Storage coordination and support for providers of Immunisation Services across Northland

About the Role
- The purpose of this position is to ensuring immunisation providers adhere to the National cold chain management standards for the safe storage and handling of vaccines across Northland.
- You will promote a high standard of vaccine storage, administration & documentation, Provide direction and oversight to Immunisation Service Providers regarding vaccine storage and monitoring of refrigerators.
- Reviewing, advising and assessing immunisation providers to ensure cold chain Accreditation as per national standards is an important component of this role
- This role is permanent part time 0.5 FTE working 20 hours per week, the hours and days have some flexibility to them. This role is based in Whangarei, however some travel around the region will be required.
About the Team
Our Community Clinical Services team are based around the region and promote, facilitate, and provide clinical education and treatment to maximise healthcare delivery in a community environment.
You will have the opportunity to work alongside other health professionals and team members within a supportive, multi-disciplinary team. This will provide you with a fantastic environment to grow and develop your knowledge and skills further.
About you
Essential Skills and Experience
- Current Driver's Licence
- Proven accurate computer skills – most importantly MS Word, Excel and data entry
- High level of interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Proven organisational and time management skills
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.
- Experience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Experience working in the Health Sector
- Knowledge of the National Immunisation Schedule
- Experience in cold chain / vaccine storage
