Job Description
Help shape smarter business decisions through data, insight, and practical analysis.
About the role
We’re on the lookout for a savvy and solutions-driven Financial Analyst to join a high-performing finance team within a fast-paced business. This is a newly created role that will give you the chance to dig into the numbers, and partner with the business to make a real impact on business performance and efficiency. Reporting to the CFO you’ll work with a wide variety of stakeholders helping translate raw data into meaningful, business-friendly insights.
What you’ll be doing:
- Analysing operational and financial data to highlight trends, uncover inefficiencies and support better decision-making
- Preparing reporting dashboards and analysis packs using tools like Power BI or Tableau
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
- Advising the business on performance trends, cost analysis and supplier spend
- Working alongside operational teams to improve processes and data integrity
- Identifying opportunities to innovate, including the use of AI tools to enhance business performance
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (Finance, Accounting, Economics etc.)
- Exceptional Excel skills, with strong experience using Power BI or similar tools
- A practical understanding of SQL (hands-on experience preferred)
- A sharp eye for detail and a willingness to get close to the numbers and understand what’s really going on
- A down-to-earth and approachable style – you’ll build trust quickly with both finance and operational teams
- Adaptability – you’re able to work within existing tools and systems while finding ways to improve how things are done
You’ll be joining a finance team that values strong relationships, open communication, and getting stuck in. The business is family-owned and people-focused, with a collaborative, fast-moving culture. It’s a brilliant opportunity to grow your commercial acumen, business partnering skills and be part of a wider transformation journey.
