We are seeking an experienced people leader with vision and influence to help drive a strong, successful and connected digital public sector.
The Digital Public Service Branch works across the public service to connect, influence and support the system to take advantage of new digital opportunities. It also supports the Government Chief Digital Officer (GCDO) to drive the government's digital transformation and position government to succeed in a changing and evolving digital age.
The Commercial Manager is an enabling position, focusing on implementing best-practice commercial management strategies to ensure the successful execution of ICT Common Capability contracts, Framework Agreements, and Marketplace Commercial Constructs. This position requires someone with strong commercial knowledge, a solid understanding of contract management and the ability to provide pragmatic commercial advice.
This role involves supporting significant contract negotiations with third party digital service providers and developing ICT contractual documentation aimed at delivering long term commercial solutions for all of government, ensuring lasting public value is achieved.
