About the Role

We are seeking applications from Community Dentists interested in joining the Oral health Service based in the Waikato. This Part time role is based in Hamilton, but will involve frequent rural travel to our Rural Hospitals and Community clinics across the region.

 

The function of the role

 

  • Our Community Dentists assist with providing Dental care beyond the scope of a Dental/Oral Health Therapist and to assist with patients under nitrous oxide sedation, general anaesthetic, for the eligible pre-schoolers, students and some adolescents. Also assisting out team with the graduate and undergraduate education programmes.
