About the Role
Are you a Registered Nurse with a passion for Mental Health Nursing? Right now, our team at Te Roopu Whitiora, Community Māori Mental Health Team is seeking a nurse to join us. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, based in Whāngarei.

We are a service committed to ongoing professional and cultural development within the parameters of the expected scope of practise for this position.

About you
Our ideal applicant will have experience of working with tāngata whaiora and their whānau living with the effects of mental illness in our community and a proven ability to communicate well with tāngata whaiora, their whānau and colleagues, and engage Māori in making choices that enhance their wellbeing. You will have a commitment to improving health outcomes, cultural safety and quality of care for Māori.
You must hold a current clean driving licence and a current annual practising certificate. The successful applicant will work alongside other Kai Mahi Māori within a supportive team environment of health professionals that is committed to delivering an excellent clinical and cultural service that reflects the needs of our tāngata whaiora and their whānau.
