Community Midwife – Botany Downs Birthing Unit

Full Time, Permanent Opportunity (1 FTE)

Botany Downs Birthing Unit is looking for an energetic, dynamic team player wanting a change in their current midwifery employment to move into a Community Midwife role. We are looking for a midwife who would like to join an established team, providing antenatal and postnatal care for the women of South Auckland. The role will include the provision of midwifery care both in the home and clinic visits. The service covers weekends and public holidays so availability for this may be required. 

You will have demonstrated outstanding communication skills and great initiative. We offer an excellent working environment with full orientation and extra educational support.

Essential:

  • New Zealand Registered Midwife
  • Current Practicing Certificate
  • 2+ years clinical experience
  • Full and clean NZ Drivers Licence
