Job Description
The Role
We are seeking a Concrete Tester to join our team. This role involves conducting precise testing, data reporting, and quality assurance activities to ensure high standards in concrete and aggregate quality. You will play a key part in supporting our technical team and maintaining certification standards.
Responsibilities
- Sample, test, and report on concrete and aggregate quality.
- Monitor concrete quality, including slump and spread.
- Provide on-site dosing and monitoring of admixtures and additives.
- Support plants in maintaining Concrete NZ PAS certification.
- Deliver excellent customer service and ensure quality assurance.
- Collaborate with the team to improve processes and achieve continuous improvement.
Days and Hours
This role offers full-time hours with occasional flexibility for on-site support as required.
Monday - Friday
Hours vary but will usually be 7 am - 4 pm
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in concrete or aggregate testing.
- Proven industry experience in concrete/aggregate testing.
- Proficiency with email, Word, and basic Excel.
- Strong customer service skills and attention to quality.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
