My client is a leading construction contractor based on Auckland’s North Shore and they’re seeking a talented Construction Planner/Programmer to join their dynamic team. If you have a minimum of 6 years’ experience in planning/programming roles directly linked to commercial construction projects, this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for!

Role Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your expertise in planning and programming to optimize project planning, scheduling, and execution
  • Collaborate with on-site project teams to develop and monitor tailored planning solutions that streamline construction processes and enhance efficiency
  • Assess project delays and extensions of time as part of the construction process
  • Act as a key liaison between our technical teams and project stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle
  • Have experience of producing tender programmes
  • Continuously evaluate and refine our programming strategies to drive continuous improvement and deliver exceptional results

Requirements:

  • Specific qualifications are ideal but not essential however previous experience in the role is a must
  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in construction planning roles directly related to commercial construction projects
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Project and other relevant programmes for vertical build construction
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • A passion for innovation and a drive to make a meaningful impact in the construction industry
