A well-established organisation is looking for a Temporary Customer & Mail Coordinator to join their team in Auckland. This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient mailroom operations, delivering high-quality customer service, and supporting the smooth flow of goods and information across the organisation.
The Customer & Mail Coordinator is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing mail, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining accurate records, and improving mailroom processes. The role also involves managing vendor and coupon materials and assisting with general administrative tasks to support the wider team.

- Provide excellent customer service by addressing mail-related inquiries and requests.
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages to relevant departments and locations.
- Prepare and dispatch outgoing mail, ensuring secure and timely delivery.
- Maintain accurate logs and tracking records of mailroom activities.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in mailroom operations.
- Manage mailroom inventory, including stamps, envelopes, and paper supplies.
- Process invoices for mailroom-related contractors and suppliers.
- Distribute monthly service anniversary pins to support office and store teams.
- Assist with additional administrative tasks such as dry-cleaning, binding, and small printing jobs.
- Process and update coupon records in the system.
- Coordinate with reception to collect and manage incoming parcels.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in a customer service or administration role.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to handle physical aspects of mailroom operations, including moving and distributing parcels.
- Basic computer proficiency, including email, spreadsheets, and tracking software.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- A strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
