Job Description
The Role:
A growing, local company is seeking a motivated and friendly Customer Service Representative to join their team. As the first point of contact for valued customers, you'll play a crucial role in providing a positive experience. If you are IT-savvy, enjoy interacting with people, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer inbound phone calls, emails, and website orders, handling basic inquiries and re-directing more complex issues.
- Greet and assist customers visiting the office, ensuring they feel welcome.
- Process orders, create job sheets, and handle basic invoicing tasks by creating invoices and sending them for approval.
- Manage customer quotes, follow up on quotes, and ensure a smooth customer experience.
- Collaborate with various departments (Production, Sales, and Service Teams) to ensure smooth operations.
- Follow up on overdue invoices and handle end-of-month tasks.
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through-ensuring no task falls through the cracks.
- Friendly and approachable demeanour for in-person, phone, and online interactions.
- Experience in customer service preferred.
- Excellent IT skills, including the use of business software like Microsoft 365
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask.
- Full driver's license.
- Clean criminal record and ability to pass a drug and alcohol test.
Hours of Work:
- Permanent full-time position with consistent hours: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
- 30-minute lunch break
- 2-week Christmas shutdown to enjoy the holiday season.
