Job Description

The Role:

A growing, local company is seeking a motivated and friendly Customer Service Representative to join their team. As the first point of contact for valued customers, you'll play a crucial role in providing a positive experience. Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer inbound phone calls, emails, and website orders, handling basic inquiries and re-directing more complex issues.
  • Greet and assist customers visiting the office, ensuring they feel welcome.
  • Process orders, create job sheets, and handle basic invoicing tasks by creating invoices and sending them for approval.
  • Manage customer quotes, follow up on quotes, and ensure a smooth customer experience.
  • Collaborate with various departments (Production, Sales, and Service Teams) to ensure smooth operations.
  • Follow up on overdue invoices and handle end-of-month tasks.

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through-ensuring no task falls through the cracks.
  • Friendly and approachable demeanour for in-person, phone, and online interactions.
  • Experience in customer service preferred.
  • Excellent IT skills, including the use of business software like Microsoft 365
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask.
  • Full driver's license.
  • Clean criminal record and ability to pass a drug and alcohol test.

Hours of Work:

  • Permanent full-time position with consistent hours: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
  • 30-minute lunch break
  • 2-week Christmas shutdown to enjoy the holiday season.
