Job Description

You will be responsible for identifying, protecting, and defending systems and networks from potential cyber threats.
  
You will play a critical role in ensuring data integrity, privacy, and compliance are in line with industry security standards.
  
Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor security systems to protect against unauthorized access, attacks, and data breaches.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses in our systems.
  • Create detailed reports and provide actionable recommendations for remediation.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technology to proactively safeguard our infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into software development and IT processes.
  • Develop, test, and implement incident response plans in the event of a security breach.
  • Analyze and respond to security incidents, providing detailed reports and recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.) and internal security policies.
  • Provide guidance and training to employees on cybersecurity best practices.
  
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Specialist or in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of Cybersecurity Frameworks, Network Security, Firewalls, Encryption, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
  • Experience with threat analysis, vulnerability management, and incident response.
  • Strong understanding of security compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in security tools, software, and programming languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
