Our client who is a well established dairy provider is seeking warehouse labourers and skilled forklift drivers to join the team. Situated in the heart of Tokoroa, you'll have the opportunity to become a part of a global leading dairy company, with operations in 48 countries worldwide! An exciting opportunity to join the first plant in New Zealand.
About the Job:
As a Dairy Production Worker, you will be an integral part of production process, ensuring the high-quality and efficient production of dairy products. This is a 4 x 4 roster, working two days and two nights, 12 hours per shift. You must be flexible in working night-shift and have reliable transport to and from work. Hourly rate is dependent on experience. A valid F and OSH certificate is advantageous as you will operate a forklift by safely and efficiently handling materials and dairy products. Please note this would be on a casual basis
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely stack and store goods in designated areas, ensuring proper organisation and accessibility.
- Inspect and maintain the forklift, reporting any issues to the supervisor.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments.
- Operate and monitor dairy processing equipment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in manufacturing and forklift driving.
- Keen eye for detail.
- Valid F Endorsement and OSH certificate required.
- Full drivers' licence.
- Pass a Criminal Conviction Check (you will not be considered without a clean MOJ)
- Provide two professional references.
