About the Role

The Decision Support Team at Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty are currently seeking an experienced health analyst to join our team.  This is a permanent position working 38 hours per week. 

About the Team/Service/ Location

This position will navigate organisational process, provide expertise and analytical support to assist services in providing high quality, equitable care to the population of the Bay of Plenty.  

You will be involved with every aspect of service delivery including financial and non-financial information, data modelling and trend analysis to monitor, report, track and evaluate progress against the Service's key priorities. 

About you

Skills required for this role: 

  • Tertiary qualification in finance, mathematics, economics or similar
  • >2 years previous experience in an analytical position within the health sector
  • Ability to interpret financial and business data
  • Advanced MS Excel and MS Office skills
  • High level of attention to detail and a solution focused mind-set
  • Skills in PowerBI incl DAX scripting, understanding of Power Query, and ability to create data models built from multiple data sets would be an advantage
