Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker

Our client is an NZ family-owned and operated business who has been supplying various packaging solutions and industrial supplies to businesses all around New Zealand for over 20 years.

They are seeking a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker who has extensive stores experience and is available for an immediate start. Due to the nature of the role, you must be physically fit and able to assist with labouring duties around the warehouse.

Duties include:

• 50/50 split between class 1 deliveries and warehousing
• Complete pallet and parcel deliveries to customers within Christchurch region (Rolleston - Rangiora)
• Dispatching orders via external carriers
• Pick packing - using an RF scanning gun
• Inwards and outwards goods, restocking and container devanning (some heavy lifting of product)
• Forklift and reach truck operation 

The successful applicant will have:

• Full class 1 driver's licence + F endorsement and own reliable transport
• Forklift OSH Certificate 
• Previous warehousing experience
• A positive attitude with great communication and customer service skills
• Be physically fit and capable of heavy lifting

Based in Hornby, you will be required to work: Monday to Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm
