Programme Manager/Delivery Lead | Contract | Auckland
Our client is seeking a Contract Programme Manager / Delivery Lead to oversee a pivotal project focused on water smart metering implementation and management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in successfully delivering projects within the utility sector, particularly in water.
Your responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end water smart metering projects, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical, operations, and customer service, to achieve project goals.
- Liaise with external vendors and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of smart metering systems.
- Provide regular progress updates and risk assessments to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Extensive experience in Programme Management within the utility (water) industry.
- Demonstrable expertise in water smart metering projects, with a strong understanding of the technical and regulatory aspects.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering results in a dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices related to water smart metering.
- Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
- Experience working with major water providers.
- Knowledge of the latest trends and innovations in water smart metering technology.
