Join our team at the Department of Internal Affairs and contribute to digital transformation through the Power Platform and Dynamics. As a Power Platform and Dynamics Developer, you'll help create solutions that make a difference while growing your technical expertise. Your team is part of Business Technology Services, situated within the Organisational Capability and Services branch.
Job Description
We are looking for a developer with Power Platform and Dynamics experience to help build solutions that empower our organisation. In this role, you will develop and implement features, collaborate with the team to build solutions, and help maintain good code quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop quality Power Platform and Dynamics solutions
- Write clean and maintainable code with proper testing
- Support the deployment and operation of applications within Power Platform and Dynamics environments
- Help develop automated deployment pipelines
- Keep up to date with relevant technologies and standards
- Work closely with team members and stakeholders to deliver solutions
- Follow and help champion our best practices and standards when building solutions
What You'll Bring
- Experience in Power Platform and Dynamics development.
- 2+ years of general programming experience, including C# or JavaScript
- Basic web development skills using HTML, JSON, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Good problem-solving abilities and communication skills
- Understanding of Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of cloud-based solutions, particularly Azure
- Experience with version control systems like Git
- Knowledge of relational databases
- Understanding of testing practices
- NZ citizenship and ability to obtain a confidential security clearance
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, or relevant work experience
