We are recruiting for a unique job opportunity that involves a relocation to a mining town in New South Wales, Australia. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Diesel Mechanic who wants to cross the ditch and get stuck into a mining role. You will be tasked with working on Heavy Mobile Equipment, from little bits to 70+ ton excavators. The ideal candidate can read and follow plans independently and has proven experience working on civil plant.
In this role, work on a wide range of machinery, challenging the full range of your skills. Thinking on your feet and experience working on a range of mobile plant is key. Heavy earth moving equipment experience is invaluable.
Please note this is not a FIFO role but a relocation to a town in New South Wales, Australia.

Requirements:
- 5+ years of on-site experience
- Ability to read plans and work independently
- Clean MOJ, license check and drug screen
- 2 industry references
- Residency/citizenship of NZ or AUS
- A relevant engineering or diesel mechanic qualification
