Part time 0.3FTE (24hours per fortnight), Permanent

Remuneration as per the PSA Allied Health MECA guidelines (between DB2 – DC2)

Would you like to develop your teaching and supervision skills?

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced dietitian to take on a role to plan and facilitate dietetic student placements within Te Whatu Ora - Counties Manukau District. This role will involve strong partnership with the Dietetic Leadership Team, the People and Professional Development Team, Massey University and University of Auckland.

We are seeking a dietitian with well-established clinical knowledge and skills. Previous experience of supervising students is required. Knowledge of the Dietetic training programmes and interprofessional education is an advantage, although not essential as further training/information will be provided.

Essential:

• Registered with the NZ Dietitian Board with current practising certificate

• Minimum of 4 years post registration experience in a health setting

• Minimum 2 years’ experience of supervising students

• Experience of coordinating multiple projects/pieces of work

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work co-operatively with a wide range of people

• Passion for student education & Dietetics

Desired:

• Clinical teaching qualification

• Knowledge of the dietetic curriculum

• Knowledge of interprofessional education
