Key Responsibilities:
- Dispatch Coordination: Oversee the coordination of domestic freight and work closely with freight forwarders to ensure timely deliveries.
- Packaging & Supplies Management: Manage the supply of essential packaging materials including pallets, pole wrapping, and consumables.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with engineering and painting teams to ensure stock poles are prepared and delivered on schedule, in line with project timelines.
- Damage Claims Management: Administer damage claims with freight forwarders, ensuring a positive resolution for both our client and their customers.
- Attend weekly meetings and work closely with internal teams to meet customer needs and ensure efficient operations.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality assurance systems to ensure a safe and compliant working environment.
- Process and dispatch goods in line with operational procedures.
- Assist with unloading and warehousing of incoming goods.
- Support regular stock counts and quality control checks.
- Modify supplier products to meet specific project requirements.
- Provide backup support to all warehouse staff during peak times and staff absence.
Core Competencies:
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in computer applications with basic math and analytical skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to achieve team goals.
- Proven ability to liaise and coordinate with freight companies.
- Forklift License and MPI Accredited Persons Certificate.
- Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or a similar role.
- Ensure products are delivered to customers on time.
- Accurately process dispatch documentation for product release.
- Maintain minimal stock variations through regular cycle counts.
- Right to work in New Zealand.
- Pass a Pre employment drug test
- Have a Clean criminal history
- Full Licence, heavy truck licence is advantageous
- Forklift licence
