Job Title: Domain Architect – Cloud Solutions

Role Type: Permanent, full-time

Location: Wellington central

Salary Band: $136,214 to $182,836 depending on skills and experience

 

Kōrero mō te Tūranga - About the Role

As a Domain Architect – Cloud Solutions you will be provide the domain knowledge and expertise for MPI's SaaS-based cloud platforms. Acting as a trusted advisor to other architects, the technology function and across the business, you will be responsible for defining the vision and strategy for your domain, developing roadmaps, architecture patterns and domain services.

 

Mōu - About You

To be successful in this role, you will have extensive relevant architecture experience at an Enterprise level from within a large and complex environment.

Preferably, your experience will include:

  • 10+years in IT or relevant Architecture/consultancy experience, ideally as an Enterprise or Senior Solution Architect level
  • 5+ years designing and delivering cloud-based solutions based on SaaS platforms, including experience on Salesforce and/or Pega platforms.
  • Be a strong communicator and influencer across multiple stakeholders, including senior business leaders.
  • Experience in agile and product-based delivery models.
  • Knowledge and experience with TOGAF or similar architecture framework
  • Knowledge and experience with ArchiMate
  • Experience across the IT Solution Development Lifecycle

Importantly, you will be able to engage in business and technical conversations at various levels, have excellent communication skills, be proactive, driven towards an outcome, and someone who is able to offer effective solutions to problems.

  • most preferably a New Zealand citizen, who has resided continuously in New Zealand for at least the last five (5) years, OR
  • is a citizen of, and/or has resided continuously in one or more of the following countries for the last five (5) years: either Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom (UK) or the United States of America (USA); and has a background history that is verifiable and can be assessed as appropriate by the New Zealand Security Intelligence Service (NZSIS) towards a recommendation of suitability for a security clearance at this level.
