Extrastaff are looking for experienced excavator operators, who are well versed in trenching, installing and working around services, final trim, prepping for asphalt, concrete, foundations and more.
You must be physically fit and able to help on the ground as required.
A range of experience is great, let us know in your application what types of drainage experience you have. If you have drainage/reticulation tickets this is an advantage.
You must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and have site safe (or be willing to obtain it)
Truck driving experience and licences advantageous but not necessary.

What you will be doing:
- Working on residential and commercial sites
- Working in subdivisions and roading
- Operating under OH&S standards
- Doing bulk and final trim work
What you will bring to the table:
- NZ Citizenship or Residency
- Class 1+ Licence with WTR endorsements
- Based in Christchurch or surrounds - only those already local will be considered, unless there are exceptional circumstances
- Excellent communication skills
- Good level of physical fitness
- Good awareness of health and safety
- Can pass a pre-employment Drug Screening test
- A sense of humour never goes amiss
- A team player, who is able to work unsupervised to a high standard
