Employment Coordinator | Manukau | Tāmaki Makaurau Ke te tonga – Auckland South
- Salary range starting from (B05) $78,222.00 - $94,689.00

- Location: Manukau Service Centre.
We are seeking a passionate and driven individual to join our team of Employment Coordinator's in the Auckland South Region. This is a permanent full-time role.
The Employment Coordinator supports clients with health conditions, illness or disabilities to access support, training and employment opportunities, make career choices, stay employed and become independent. This key role proactively identifies and addresses barriers to employment for people with health conditions and disabilities and facilitates preventative support by contributing to the region's business strategy, plans and initiatives related to health or disability.
What you'll be doing | He aha tāu e mahi ana
Working across the Tamaki Makurau ki te tonga - Auckland South Region, this key role will see you collaborate with Case Managers to identify clients' skills, abilities, and needs and identify approaches to enhance their capabilities including skill training and supported work placements.
In collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, you will coordinate and develop targeted interventions to enable clients to enter the labour market and stay employed. This includes providing clients with career and personal guidance and advice, referring them to relevant training opportunities and programmes, promoting them to relevant employers and assisting them with CV development, interview preparation, and undertaking pre-employment checks.
What you'll need to succeed | Ko ngā mea ka hiahiatia e koe kia angitū
- Relevant experience or knowledge of working within the health and disability sector or recruitment industry
- Knowledge of current developments and trends in the labour market, including employment challenges and issues faced by people with health or disabilities.
- The ability to interpret and analyse data to identify trends in health condition, injury and disability services and employment.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building and networking skills.
- Effectively managing time to meet deadlines and targets.
You must hold a full, valid Driver License and be able to travel across Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland) as required.
