You will be joining a company that has been delivering outstanding solutions to international and domestic clients, large and small since 2002. They procure professional services and physical works, give strategic independent advice, and provide project management and delivery.
This role forms a key part of the procurement work group which delivers strategic and tactical procurement and bid advice into large capital projects across the country.
The role
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with current and future clients including scoping business development opportunities and securing projects for business case, policy assignments and economic analysis possibilities
- Deliver sound procurement advice and expertise to clients
- Collaborate with team, peers and interested parties to find creative solutions that are effective and add value to projects
- Mentor, supervise, and motivate junior staff members
The ideal candidates
- Hold a relevant tertiary qualification and current membership to professional institution
- A background in strategic and tactical procurement within the construction and engineering (or related) industries.
- Awesome stakeholder management skills and a real desire to add value both internally and externally.
- Tender preparation.
- Be a proven communicator and leader that can collaborate with specialists from various sectors and motivate your team to push projects to completion
