Job Description
Currently supporting an established and growing SaaS company recruit an Engineering Manager to support and grow its product teams that are based in Wellington.
This company is known for its positive culture and innovative technology and is a leader in its domain.
As an Engineering Manager you will provide leadership and coaching to a team of seven engineers split across two products providing coaching, guidance, and leadership to both the individual software engineers and product teams.
I am looking for a leader that is comfortable leading both upwards and downwards that can see the bigger picture from collaborating with various teams but also lead empathetically to drive process improvement and delivery.
You will not be expected to be hands on engineering in this role but you will be expected to understand the technology, how it connects, and streamline the product development lifecycle:
Experience Required:
- Experienced with DevOps improvement and methodology
- 8 years + software engineering expertise
- Ideally come from a .NET background but this is not a must have
- Demonstrable process improvement, coaching, and recruitment experience
- Have worked in a SaaS product based environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non technical stakeholders with demonstrable leadership experience (2-3 years)
