Ō pūkenga/Skills and Experience
As the Establishment Management Advisor, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between our business units, People Experience (PX) advisory teams, and the HR Information System (HRIS) team. Your focus will be on managing position data and establishment structures to ensure accurate and efficient workforce planning across the Ministry. This role offers a unique opportunity to support the Ministry's strategic initiatives by providing expert advice on position management, data integrity, and system optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end position management process, advising on the creation, modification, and deletion of positions in our HR system.
- Collaborate with Strategic Business Partners to maintain and audit establishment data, supporting organizational restructuring initiatives.
- Analyse workforce data to generate insights, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
- Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement in position management and service delivery.
- Develop and maintain guidelines, training materials, and resources for staff and leaders.
- Work closely with the HRIS and PX advisory teams to optimize system functionalities and support strategic PX initiatives.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- 3+ years of experience in HR position management, establishment management, or HRIS administration.
- Strong analytical skills and experience working with HRIS platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, or Oracle HCM.
- A detail-oriented mindset with a focus on data accuracy, integrity, and compliance.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in HR or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Utu ā-tau/Salary
The appointing salary for this role will be between $83,562 to $107,862 based on skills and experience.
