Job Description

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Event Set Up and Pack Down Staff on a casual/temporary basis. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and fast-paced industry, working on a variety of events and functions throughout Christchurch.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and pack down of event equipment, including tables, chairs, stages, and decorations
  • Assist with the transportation and loading/unloading of event equipment
  • Ensure all equipment is set up according to plans and specifications
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and event attendees
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in event set up and pack down is preferred, but not essential
  • Strong physical fitness, as the role involves heavy lifting and manual labor
  • Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliability and punctuality
