Job Description
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Event Set Up and Pack Down Staff on a casual/temporary basis. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and fast-paced industry, working on a variety of events and functions throughout Christchurch.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and pack down of event equipment, including tables, chairs, stages, and decorations
- Assist with the transportation and loading/unloading of event equipment
- Ensure all equipment is set up according to plans and specifications
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and event attendees
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times
Requirements:
- Previous experience in event set up and pack down is preferred, but not essential
- Strong physical fitness, as the role involves heavy lifting and manual labor
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliability and punctuality
