Mō tēnei tūranga - about the role
As the Executive Assistant to the DCE Service Delivery Design, you'll focus on providing a first-rate support service. You will provide high level executive support including managing their busy schedule and acting as a first point of contact on their behalf. You will proactively plan and coordinate meetings and events, as well as provide general administrative support to the DCE.

Our ideal candidate will have strong experience in providing exceptional support at an executive level and will be able to get up to speed quickly. This is often a fast paced and highly dynamic environment, so your professionalism, agility, and ability to build strong working relationships will be paramount. You will have strong attention to detail and time management, with the ability to anticipate and support timelines for work. You will have proven ability to work collaboratively in a team to deliver exceptional support.
To be successful in this role, we'd expect you will:
- Prior experience as an executive assistant to executive leadership within a large complex organisation
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, specifically within calendar management and preparing meeting documentation
- Excellent relationship skills within a large, complex environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to demonstrate initiative and a positive approach to problem solving
- A passion for being part of a team focused on delivering a safe, positive and inclusive environment for all Fire and Emergency personnel

The salary range for this role is $83,155 - $92,394 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
