This is an exciting permanent opportunity for a Lawyer with 3-6 years PQE to join our thriving family law team. You will be responsible for handling a diverse caseload, including Legal Aid matters, and contributing to the firm’s continued success. This role offers the chance to work in a modern, well-equipped office with excellent support services.
Mōu | About you
You are a highly motivated and articulate Lawyer with a proven track record in private practice. You possess strong commercial acumen and a keen understanding of balancing private client work with Legal Aid billing. You are confident, client-focused, and able to build rapport quickly. You thrive in a team environment and are eager to contribute to a dynamic and active workplace.
Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience
- 3-6 years PQE in legal practice, ideally with experience in family law.
- Proven experience handling Legal Aid matters.
- Strong commercial acumen and business awareness.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with dictation and word processing support.
- Ability to work from the office 8.30am to 5.30pm with some flexibility.
- Competitive salary package of $100,000 - $130,000 (up to $140,000 total package including KiwiSaver), plus Southern Cross health insurance.
