Due to internal promotions and growth, we are seeking a skilled Finance Administrator to join their high performing head office based in Invercargill.

About:

On offer is a great remuneration package including a vehicle allowance, monthly bonuses and medical insurance for you and your immediate family. The newly expanded position is based on in office full time hours Monday to Friday 8am-5pm (slightly negotiable for the right candidate). Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role is as an active member of the finance team and takes responsibility for maintaining accurate records of all incoming payments, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices and resolving any payment discrepancies.
Your attention to detail and strong organisational skills will contribute to the ongoing success of the broader Tyremax team.

We're looking for the following skills:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, accounts receivable procedures, and financial reconciliation - you must be great with numbers and data!
  • Excellent MS Office and ERP software skills - expert Excel capability a must!
  • Resilient with positive conflict resolution skills and customer focused approach
  • Financial acumen and applicable experience with AR/Credit and collections systems and legislation
You will be:
  • Highly autonomous, accurate and organised with well-developed time management skills
  • Articulate and professional communicator
  • Accurate, analytical, and committed to getting it right
  • Adaptable and collaborative with problem solving skills and initiative
  • Calm and focused under pressure - this is a busy and deadline driven role
Tasks include:
  • Credit control
  • Customer account maintenance
  • Reconciliations
  • Rebates program maintenance
  • Allocating and processing payments
  • Data Governance
  • Other finance and general administrative duties and projects as required
