February 2025 start approx 6 month contract | CBD Based with flexible working

Are you an experienced finance professional with a passion for systems analysis and a desire to make a meaningful impact in the world of sustainable packaging? This fixed term contract, role ideally six months offers the chance to combine your advanced technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and accounting expertise to support a business that is driving innovative solutions for the environment. 

Reporting directly to the CFO you will be responsible for  

  • Overseeing month-end finance processes, including stock reconciliations to  ensure data accuracy.
  • Working  with advanced inventory systems to build reports and ensure seamless data integrity.
  • Developing and implementing best-practice business processes that align with financial and operational goals.
  • Investigating  exceptions, resolve root causes, and implement effective solutions.
  • Providing insights through advanced reporting, using your expert Excel skills to manage large data sets and complex formulas.
  • Supporting the month end process, including providing the business with ad hoc sales and inventory reporting
  • Acting  as the bridge between finance and business units, interpreting requirements and ensuring seamless collaboration.
  • Building strong relationships across the business, coaching stakeholders and embedding best-practice behaviour's across the business
About you
  • 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or systems analysis.
  • Advanced ERP and inventory systems expertise (experience with tools like Cin7, Xero, and HubSpot is ideal).
  • Strong problem-solving, business process, and relationship-building skills.
  • Advanced Excel capabilities and a solid understanding of financial impacts in system transactions.
This role will start early February and is expected to last for six months to allow system and processes to improved.
