Finance Business Partner

Minimum 4 month contract | Christmas shut down | Hybrid working model | $60 to 65 per hour | Immediate start

The business
This business is one of the largest employers in Auckland.  With a large complex finance team and a recent merger of another large business it’s an exciting time to join them, as they continue to define a new finance structure created around building a centre of excellence within Finance. We are now seeking an experienced Business Analyst to help support the team while the incumbent is on secondment within the wider team.
  
What you will be doing
You will be responsible for providing accurate, timely and expert financial and business analysis on your FMCG cost centre's and assist on a range of activities including monthly reporting, financial and non-financial performance analysis, budgets and forecasts and financial modelling.  You will have experience in costing and inventory management and proven experience influencing and engaging key stakeholders.
  
About you

• Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent, majoring in Accounting
• Qualified Chartered Accountant or working towards this.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with costing and inventory management.
• Advanced Excel skills

  
This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a short-term contract role with the certainty of getting through the first part of next year.  It is expected for this person to start next week and the business will have a Christmas shut down period from 23 December 2024  to 6 January 2025.
