Senior Systems Analyst

The Role:

We are seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to join our Oracle Systems Support team. This role reports to the Manager Financial Systems and is crucial for embedding and enhancing our newly implemented Oracle systems.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality advice and skills to translate business requirements into working applications
  • Assist the Finance and IST Groups to ensure all activities across the system development life cycle are coordinated and focused on value delivery and post-production support
  • Develop, test, and implement sustainable business practices through finance-oriented systems
  • Coordinate upgrades or enhancements to finance systems and related business processes
  • Monitor system performance and ensure data integrity, user access controls, and security configurations
  • Identify opportunities to enhance reporting capabilities across MSD
  • Support the Manager Financial Systems in documenting business continuity and disaster recovery plans

 

What We Are Looking For:

  • Experience working with Oracle systems and a strong understanding of financial processes
  • Ability to actively engage with MSD customers to understand their business requirements and support them through change processes
  • Hands-on approach and eagerness to support and help
  • Experience with ERP (implemented in 2022) and EPM (implemented in 2024), with a focus on embedding and enhancing these systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate information into actionable insights

 

Our Systems:

Main systems include Oracle (referred to as Weka), ERP for Financial Management, and EPM.
