We have a permanent role with our client who will play a crucial role in supporting the finance team with various accounting tasks.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with month end for group
- Review monthly financial statements
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management reports
- Reconciliations
- Fixed assets
- Accounts payable – prepare payment runs
- Solid financial accounting experience up to date with NZ IFRS
- An agile approach and a willingness to roll up your sleeves
- Xero experience ideally
- The ability to problem solve and think outside the square
- Initiative, drive and resilience
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaborate with the team
- A great communication style
- Be highly organised
