We have permanent opportunities to join our team as a Financial Advisor, based in Wellington.

Mō te tūranga mahi | About the role

As a Financial Advisor, you will provide key support in our finance business partnering model, helping provide financial insights as a trusted advisor across the organisation.

This is an exciting opportunity to combine your expertise in management accounting with your ability to provide meaningful, forward-focussed advice, helping the business make well-informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guiding business units in budgeting, forecasting, and managing financial risks.
  • Driving value by optimising processes, improving efficiency, and supporting decision-making across the organisation.
  • Contributing to the development of user-friendly financial analysis reports and tools.
  • Building strong relationships with business units to understand their needs and challenges.

Mōu | About you

We'll be looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience in budgeting, variance reporting, and cost accounting within a large and complex organisation.
  • Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to identifying financial issues and providing innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
  • A proven track record of working collaboratively to drive continuous improvement.
  • Qualified accountant desirable, or a strong analytical background.
  • A collaborative, team-focused approach, with a high level of initiative.

The appointing salary range for this role is $110,000 - $136,000 with appointment depending on skills and experience and internal relativities. ACC also offers 9% superannuation on top of base salary.
