Mō te tūranga mahi | About the role

We have two opportunities to join us as a Financial Advisor - one permanent and one 12-month fixed term/secondment.

Our Finance team sits within our Corporate & Finance group, which works to enable the organisation through the provision of strategic and operational advice and support across ACC.

As a Financial Advisor, you will provide key support in our finance business partnering model, helping provide financial insights as a trusted advisor across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guiding business units in budgeting, forecasting, and managing financial risks.
  • Driving value by optimising processes, improving efficiency, and supporting decision-making across the organisation.
  • Contributing to the development of user-friendly financial analysis reports and tools.
  • Building strong relationships with business units to understand their needs and challenges.

These are Wellington based roles.

The appointing salary range is $110,000 - $136,000 with appointment depending on skills and experience and internal relativities. ACC also offers 9% superannuation on top of base salary.

Mōu | About you

We'll be looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience in budgeting, variance reporting, and cost accounting within a large and complex organisation.
  • Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to identifying financial issues and providing innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
  • A proven track record of working collaboratively to drive continuous improvement.
  • Qualified accountant desirable, or a strong finance or analytical background.
  • A collaborative, team-focused approach, with a high level of initiative.
