Job Description

About the Organisation:

Our client, a prominent player in the healthcare sector, is on an exciting transformation journey. Led by a dynamic and visionary CFO, the company has recently merged two entities into one and is committed to driving innovation and continuous improvement in all aspects of the business.

As part of this strategic transformation, the CFO has restructured teams, created new roles, and placed a strong emphasis on upskilling and attracting the best talent.

The company is well on its way to achieving impressive efficiencies, including reducing debt collection times by 30% and cutting the month-end process from 25 days to just 10—a true testament to the leadership’s focus on efficiency and excellence.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Financial Systems Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in assessing the current financial systems and processes within the organisation.

This is an opportunity to bring your strategic mindset to the table and analyse the existing technology stack, identify gaps, and deliver a comprehensive plan or diagnosis on how the company can optimise its financial systems for the future.

You’ll be tasked with looking at the “big picture” and ensuring that the financial systems are aligned with the organisation’s transformation goals.
This is a 2-3 month contract, and your primary focus will be:

  • Conducting a thorough review of the current financial systems, processes, and technologies.
  • Identifying key gaps and inefficiencies in the existing setup.
  • Providing a strategic roadmap or diagnosis for what could work best moving forward.
  • Offering insights and recommendations, without necessarily being involved in the solution delivery or project implementation phase.

This role will give you the opportunity to work alongside a leadership team that’s committed to making impactful changes and embracing innovation.
About You:

  • Experience with Financial Systems: You should have a solid background in financial systems and technology, with the ability to think strategically about how they can be improved or transformed.
  • Strategic Mindset: The ability to look at the bigger picture, assess the current landscape, and come up with a clear and actionable plan for the future.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong skills in identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Excellent Communication: You will need to be able to clearly articulate your findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.

What’s in it for you:

  • Work with a transformational leader who is dedicated to driving change and improving processes.
  • Contribute to the success of an organisation that is making a real difference in the healthcare sector.
  • Be part of an exciting and dynamic environment during a period of significant change.
  • Flexible contract role with the opportunity to make a substantial impact on the future direction of the company’s financial systems.

If you’re a strategic thinker with a passion for financial systems, we’d love to hear from you. Apply now to be part of an exciting, forward-thinking team.
