The Role:
We are seeking a hands-on professional to oversee the smooth operation of a state-of-the-art laboratory and critical utilities, including HVAC systems, water treatment plants, boilers, generators, and electrical systems.
Your mission is to ensure optimal performance, safety, and compliance with industry standards while maintaining a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the availability and efficient operation of all site equipment, machinery, and technology.
- Diagnose and resolve faults promptly, including managing major breakdowns.
- Plan and oversee significant projects, adhering to timelines and budgets.
- Manage and execute a comprehensive preventative maintenance program.
- Supervise contractors and ensure quality workmanship.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
- Complete all administrative tasks in compliance with GMP standards, SOPs, and Health & Safety regulations.
- Agile and able to work with diverse equipment
- A trade qualification as a fitter or similar.
- An EST, EWRB, or electrical disconnect/reconnect license to work on electrical equipment legally.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Preference for a NZ based person
