Mō te tūnga | About the role

Uses data to improve process and  optimise results. Day to day servicing fleet requirements for kaimahi. You will have the opportunity to build and maintain relationships with all parts of the organisation such as tier 3 leaders, social workers and resource workers.

The bulk of your coordination duties will be processing registrations , fuel cards, data base management and reporting on any inconsistencies with agency vehicle use.

You will be part a busy fleet team that sits within infrastructure and essential service for Oranga Tamariki that ensures. Our people are experienced and competent drivers who can choose road transport options matched to their needs that allow them to work optimally, and that no harm occurs to our kaimahi, tamariki or other road users.

This role is based in our Wellington office. Due to the operational requirements and dynamic nature of the role, it will be beneficial for you to have the close support of the leadership team around you. Candidates for this role are required to already be based in the greater Wellington area or be willing to relocate to Wellington for this opportunity.

Key requirements of the role include: 

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines. Handle increasing demands in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient with excel and confident with other Microsoft products
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas to a variety of audiences and build and maintain rapport with others
  • A highly motivated performer that's adaptable to change
  • A background in Fleet support would be advantageous.
  • Understanding and appreciation of cross-cultural practices in particular; knowledge of tikanga Māori, and Pacific peoples' culture
