Hours:   1.0 FTE (80 hours per fortnight)
Shifts:  
Monday to Friday (7.00AM to 3.30PM).No on-call required
Status:   Permanent full-time position

Salary: 
$31.13 per hour plus $6500 pro rata allowance

About the Role 

We are looking to appoint a Floating Team Leader to join our existing team. 

You will be involved with ongoing service development that will allow you to use your expertise and skills.  You will be an integral part of the team, providing support and leadership in houses across the service as needed, as well as pro-active day-to-day support to enable the people you support to live safely and be actively involved in their community. 

While your roster will usually be 7.00AM to 3.30PM weekdays, we work with flexibility over 7 days including evening and weekend work.  Our goal is to embed Enabling Good Lives in our daily practices. 

About you

You will have:

  • inspiring leadership skills and a strong commitment to the principles of person-centred support.
  • hold a minimum NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Level 4), or an equivalent health or disability related qualification as assessed by the Ministry of Health (see link below).
  • sound knowledge of Person-Centred support as well as good time management skills. 
  • Experience working in the field of disability, youth social services would be advantageous.
  • This role is classified by Immigration as ANZSCO 423111 and applicants for this position must be eligible to work in New Zealand.
