Job Description
About the Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a deep understanding of Financial Management Information Systems (FMIS). In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for gathering requirements, conducting gap analysis, and providing robust recommendations to support the creation of a compelling business case for Executive Leadership Team (ELT) approval.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders across various levels to understand the current FMIS state and identify gaps.
- Develop and document detailed requirements for the new FMIS.
- Conduct a thorough gap analysis to inform recommendations and improvements.
- Prepare and present a comprehensive business case to the ELT for approval.
- Travel to multiple sites within the Waikato region as part of the requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement process.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a strong focus on FMIS.
- Excellent relational skills with the ability to connect with stakeholders at all levels and build productive relationships.
- Strong analytical skills to conduct gap analysis and develop actionable recommendations.
- Ability to work within a fixed timeframe, ensuring timely delivery of the business case before the end-of-year review.
- Willingness to travel around multiple sites within the Waikato region.
