About the Client:

Our client is one of the biggest dairy companies in the world, known for providing high quality and sustainable products for international and local consumption.

About the role:

We are looking for experienced forklift drivers to join our team of passionate, future focused forklift drivers. You must have previous experience working in a distribution centre and confident in moving and lifting pallets throughout a fast-paced DC environment.

You will stack pallets at roughly 4 metres high of bulk powder products. Minimal heavy lifting of 25kg boxes and general cleaning is required when necessary. You must also feel comfortable working in both a Coolstores and Drystores environment. This is temporary work - the hours may vary upon requirements and volumes of production. Day and Night shifts available.

Candidates should possess:

  • Valid F endorsement & OSH certificate is a MUST.
  • Knowledge of using SAP software experience.
  • Experience in moving pallets and working in a distribution centre environment.
  • Knowledge of site safety rules and regulations in a corporate company
  • Reliable transport and clean full driver's license.
  • Flexible with working a rotational roster and at short notice.
  • 2 professional work references
  • Willingness to learn and being able to use initiative.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug and medical test.
  • Pass a pre-employment MOJ criminal convictions check.

Skills & Experience:

  • Loading pallets and confidence in sending products to the correct location accurately
  • Physically fit - able to lift 25kgs.
  • Strong adherence to workplace Health and Safety practices
  • The ability to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Reliable transport and willing to travel when required.
  • An understanding of the importance of working to strict deadlines
