Full-Time Class 5 Truck Driver – Aggregate Cartage

Pay Rate: $32 per hour

We are urgently seeking an experienced Class 5 Truck Driver to join our team in West Christchurch. This role involves driving a 9-axle truck and trailer to cart aggregates between two quarries. You will be working 10 hours per day, Monday to Friday, starting on 07/01/2025. Initially, this will be a casual position for an intended 3-month period, with potential for permanent employment for the right person, though this is not guaranteed.
Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a 9-axle truck and trailer to cart aggregates between two quarries.
• Ensure safe and efficient driving, adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any maintenance issues.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A full Class 5 driver’s licence.
• Previous experience driving Class 5 tippers in the civil sector.
• A clean Drug and Alcohol test and Ministry of Justice (MOJ) check, required prior to starting.
• A strong commitment to safety and punctuality.
