This organisation has operations across New Zealand and is part of very successful global business. They manufacture and supply specialist/technical services aligned to the construction sector.
Reporting to a Managing Director we are looking for an experienced General Manager to take ownership of and grow the New Zealand business. Key responsibilities of this crucial role will include:
- Developing short and long term strategic plans with a clear focus on expansion
- Oversee strategy implementation, setting and monitoring KPI’s
- Building a strong culture of high performance
- Provide leadership to a team of 4 direct reports
- Optimise operational management to drive revenue growth and improve the financial position
- Bringing a competitive spirit and desire to achieve and maintain a position of market leaders
- Relevant previous experience at General Management level
- Proven leadership qualities
- A proactive style, along with determination and drive
- Be a strategic thinker as well as being able to be tactical
- The willingness to embrace challenges and drive change
