This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week, with a remuneration range of $71,7692 to $101,321 p.a. (including KiwiSaver) depending on skills and experience.

The opportunity

As a Graduate Modeller, you will become an integral and valued part of our Modelling team in the Strategy and Planning group, where your skills will be utilised across a broad spectrum of projects. The role will see you support three waters hydraulic models (water, stormwater and wastewater) and contribute to the management of three waters asset data.

Surrounded by a variety of modellers and engineers, you will develop invaluable work experience and leadership confidence. You'll quickly become a valued and respected part of the company, administering the three waters' network within the Wellington region.

About you:

To be successful in this role you will bring the following:

  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g. Bachelor of Engineering or Science)
  • A good understanding of hydrology
  • Experience with GIS preferred
  • An interest in data and model management
  • Computer literacy with the ability to learn new systems quickly
